    Luxury car rental guide

How booking a luxury car works with Nero Line

Renting a supercar from Nero Line follows the same path in Spain and in Switzerland: you book online or ask for an offer, pay a 30% down payment, we confirm your booking personally, you pay the balance before delivery, and the car is handed over at your address. This guide explains each step: what you pay and when, what confirmation means, how the security deposit works and what happens if you cancel.

With Nero Line, the price, the down payment, the security deposit, the kilometre allowance and the cancellation terms of your car are shown before you pay, and every booking is confirmed personally by our team.

    Step by step

    1. Choose your car and dates

Book Now on any car with a published price walks you through your dates, the delivery and return points and your details. No message is needed.

    2. Verify your identity, then pay 30%

Before any money is taken, a three-minute check on your phone: your driving licence front and back, your passport or ID, and a short selfie. You only do it once. You then accept the Terms and pay a down payment of 30% of the total by card through Stripe, and the car is blocked for your dates.

    3. We confirm your booking

We confirm every booking personally, within 2 hours during opening hours (08:00–20:00 CET). If we cannot confirm it, the down payment is refunded in full.

    4. Pay the remaining 70%

The remaining 70% is due before delivery, no later than 7 days before the rental starts. You can pay it by card, PayPal or, where offered, bank transfer.

    5. Handover

The car is delivered to your hotel, villa, home or the airport, fully fuelled, and handed to the driver who completed the identity check. We place the security deposit and you sign the rental agreement.

    6. Return

We inspect the car with you when it comes back. We release the security deposit after an undamaged return, in Spain within 48 hours.

How to book: Book Now or ask for an offer

Every car with a published price has a Book Now button. It takes you through your dates, the delivery and return points and your details, then to a card payment through Stripe. You never have to message anyone.

Instant booking runs for deliveries between 08:00 and 20:00, at least four hours ahead, and same-day bookings close at 17:00 local time. Outside those windows, Send Request reaches the concierge, who arranges it with you.

Send Request costs nothing. We reply with availability and a firm quote within 2 hours during opening hours (08:00–20:00 CET), and nothing is charged until you accept the offer and pay.

Some bookings always start with a request, such as armored vehicles. For an armored car we confirm positioning, dates and the driver, then send a written offer.

A chauffeur can be added to any car on request. It is a separate service billed per hour, shown separately in your written offer.

Booking confirmation: what it means and when you get it

The 30% down payment blocks the car exclusively for you, but a booking is not guaranteed until our team has confirmed it.

We confirm every booking personally, within 2 hours during opening hours (08:00–20:00 CET). If we cannot confirm your booking, your down payment is refunded in full.

Right after the down payment you receive a confirmation email with your car, your rental dates, the delivery and return points and the price summary.

Booking also gives you access to your customer account, where your contract, invoices, payments and deposit status are kept in one place, in your language.

Before the rental we contact you to confirm the delivery details. Your documents were already checked before payment, so the handover is about the car, not paperwork.

Payment: what you pay and when

Booking online takes a down payment of 30% of the total rental cost. The remaining 70% is due before delivery, no later than 7 days before the rental start date.

The down payment is paid by card through Stripe, and card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us. For the remaining balance you receive a secure payment link, where you can pay by card, by PayPal or, where offered, by bank transfer.

Card payments are accepted by Visa or Mastercard. American Express and cash are not accepted.

Where bank transfer is offered, the discount shown on the payment page applies. A booking paid by bank transfer is reserved only once the money reaches our account.

Prices are shown and charged in the currency of the country where the car is supplied: euros in Spain and Swiss francs in Switzerland. Prices include VAT, 21% in Spain and 8.1% in Switzerland.

The price you see is the price you pay. Delivery outside the car's city and handovers outside 08:00–20:00 are calculated before payment and included in your booking total, never added at handover.

You receive a full invoice for every booking, and it is kept in your customer account.

    The security deposit

The security deposit is separate from the down payment and the rental price. The amount depends on the car and is always stated on the car page and in your offer.

In Spain the security deposit is a hold on your credit card at handover, never a charge. Bring a Visa or Mastercard credit card in the main driver's name.

In Switzerland the security deposit is taken at handover, and your booking confirmation states how it is held.

The deposit covers potential damage, traffic fines and other liabilities during the rental. We release the deposit within 48 hours of the car being returned and inspected without issue.

Your bank then needs another 2–14 days to show the money back on your statement. That step is the bank's, not ours, and we cannot speed it up.

    Insurance and what is included

In Spain every rental includes third-party liability insurance. Damage to the car, theft and vandalism are the renter's responsibility, secured by the refundable security deposit.

In Switzerland every rental includes fully comprehensive insurance. You carry an excess per claim of between CHF 5’000 and CHF 10’000 depending on the car, which is what the security deposit secures.

The deposit and liability terms for your car are written into your offer and your rental agreement before you pay anything.

Every car comes with a daily kilometre allowance that differs by model. It is stated on the car page and in your offer, together with the price per extra kilometre.

The car is delivered with a full tank of premium fuel. In Spain, delivery and collection within the city the car is based in are included in the price.

    Documents, handover and return

You need a valid driving licence and a passport or national ID. The minimum driver age and how long you must have held your licence are set per car and shown on the car page and in your offer.

The identity check happens online, on your phone, before the first payment. You photograph your driving licence front and back and your passport or national ID, then take a short selfie that Stripe compares with the document. It takes about three minutes.

You do it once. After that, your next bookings with Nero Line go straight to payment, unless the document you used has expired.

When an agency books for you, the agency itself is not verified. The driver receives a link from us and completes the same check before the rental.

We keep copies of your documents, as the rental agreement requires. They are stored privately and used only for your rental.

If your licence is not in the Latin alphabet, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it.

At handover we give the car to the verified driver, record its condition, fuel level and kilometres, place the security deposit, and you sign the rental agreement.

When the car comes back we inspect it with you, and your contract, invoice and deposit status stay available in your customer account.

Under our Terms, the car may not be taken outside Spain without our prior written consent.

    Cancellation and changes

If you cancel, the 30% down payment is non-refundable, because the car was blocked exclusively for you. What else is refunded depends on how long before the agreed delivery date and time we receive your cancellation.

More than 7 days before delivery, 70% of the total rental cost is refundable, and if the remaining 70% has not been paid yet, it is no longer due.

From 7 to 3 days before delivery, both included, 50% of the total rental cost is refundable. Less than 3 days before delivery, or if the car is not collected, nothing is refundable.

If we have to cancel for a reason that is not attributable to you, we refund everything you paid and, whenever one is available, offer a comparable or better car for the same dates at the same price.

Cancellations must be sent in writing, by email or through your account. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.

To change your dates, tell us as early as you can and we will move the booking whenever the car is free. To extend a rental, message the concierge on WhatsApp: you pay the extra days at the same daily rate.
