Armored car hire in Ibiza

There is no road to Ibiza. An armored vehicle arrives by ferry from the mainland, and in high season ferry space for heavy vehicles has to be booked in advance. This is why we ask for your dates as early as possible, and why a last-minute request in August is harder to fulfil here than in Madrid or Zurich.

Once on the island, the vehicle stays with you for the length of the booking. For stays split between Ibiza and Mallorca, or between the islands and Barcelona, tell us the whole programme so each crossing is booked once.

Many private villas on the island are reached by narrow lanes, often unlit, sometimes unpaved for the last stretch. A heavy armored SUV handles these better than a low saloon, and a driver who has seen the lane in daylight drives it more safely at three in the morning.

Evenings move between Ibiza Town, the marinas and the beach clubs on the coast. The crowds and the parking around these places are the real challenge in summer. The driver plans set-down points where you can step straight into the venue and a waiting position close enough to leave without delay.

Ibiza Airport handles private aviation through a separate area, and arrivals in July and August are busy. The driver follows your flight and positions the vehicle according to the airport's procedures.
