    Monaco Yacht Show

    Monaco

Armored vehicles for the Monaco Yacht Show

Four days in September when Port Hercule fills with superyachts, and buyers, owners and their advisers move between viewings, private suites and dinners.

    • From one full day with driver
    • Rates on request

Armored vehicles for the Monaco Yacht Show give buyers, owners and their advisers a certified armored saloon or SUV with a trained security driver for the show, 22 to 25 September 2027. Nero Line provides protection levels from VR4 to VR10 and plans each day around Port Hercule, the arrival from Nice and the evenings in Monaco and along the coast. The show brings buyers of large yachts into a small harbour, so early booking is recommended. Rates are on request.

What the Monaco Yacht Show is

The Monaco Yacht Show is the superyacht industry's September showcase, held each September in Port Hercule. Shipyards, designers and sellers present large yachts at the quays, many of them new, and prospective buyers visit by appointment.

The visitors are, by the nature of the event, people with considerable means. Their appointments, their arrivals at the harbour and their evenings are all easy to observe in a place as compact as Monaco.

    Why to book early

During the show, Port Hercule and the roads around it are crowded, stopping places are scarce and Monaco's hotels are full. Armored vehicles for the show are provided on request and positioned in Monaco ahead of your first viewing.

An early request gives you the widest choice of vehicle and protection level and lets us plan set-down points around the show's access arrangements.

Advisers and family offices who accompany a buyer may need the vehicle on the same days, and one booking can cover the whole party when the timings are shared in advance.

How the service works during the show

The driver meets you at Nice Airport or the Monaco heliport and stays with you for the show. Arrivals at the quays are planned around your viewing appointments, and the vehicle waits nearby so you can move between the harbour, meetings and lunch without delay.

Evenings are planned from your schedule, whether on board, at a hotel in Monte-Carlo or at a villa on Cap Ferrat. The same vehicle and driver cover the whole programme.

Viewings are often booked back to back, and some buyers also visit shipyards or yachts moored elsewhere on the coast during the same week. The driver keeps your schedule in hand and adjusts the day when a viewing runs long.

    Event calendar

    Plan around the big events

Summits, congresses and festivals bring road closures and busy arrivals into a few days. These are the dates we plan for.

Nero Line is independent of the event organisers. Event names are used only to describe the dates and places we serve.

    Protection levels

    Protection levels in plain words

Civilian armored vehicles are commonly rated on the VR scale. The higher the number, the heavier the threat the body and glazing are tested against, and the heavier the vehicle becomes.

    VR4

    Handguns, up to .44 Magnum.

Discreet protection for city travel. The lightest class, closest to a standard car in weight and handling.

    VR6 to VR7

Rifles. VR7 corresponds roughly to the former B6 rating.

Suited to executive and diplomatic travel where rifles are part of the risk assessment.

    VR9

Military rifles. Corresponds roughly to the former B7 rating.

High protection for elevated risk profiles. Heavy, with a licence requirement to match.

    VR10

The highest level certified for a civilian vehicle.

Available on request, subject to availability and longer lead times.

Not sure which level fits your trip? Choose "advise me" in the request form and we will recommend one.
