Mobile World Congress is one of the largest annual gatherings of the mobile and connectivity industry, bringing network operators, device makers, technology companies, investors and government delegations to Barcelona each spring.

For senior executives, the congress is a week of back-to-back meetings at stands and private suites in the halls, followed by dinners and receptions across the city. Their time is tightly scheduled, and their movements are easy to anticipate.

During MWC, hotel rooms, chauffeured cars and set-down space around Fira Gran Via are all in short supply. Armored vehicles are a small category to begin with, and congress week concentrates arrivals into four days.
