Armored vehicles in Barcelona

Mobile World Congress turns the road between the airport, the hotels and Fira Gran Via into the busiest corridor in the city. Taxi queues grow long, set-down points fill early and the same few junctions carry most of the traffic.

We plan congress days around agreed slots: a morning drop-off at a set-down point agreed in advance, a waiting position close to the halls, and an evening plan for dinners across the city. The Eixample and the upper Diagonal bring hotels, offices and private clubs within a few blocks of one another, which keeps most journeys there short. Pedralbes and the hills of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi are quieter and residential, with gated homes and narrow streets that reward a driver who has driven them before.

Port Vell is where large yachts berth in the heart of the city. Arrivals by sea follow the same logic as arrivals by air: the vehicle waits where the marina allows, and the transfer to the hotel or the airport is planned before the guests step ashore.

Sitges lies south along the coast and the Costa Brava to the north, with Girona Airport serving the coves and villages around it. For longer programmes the vehicle can continue to Valencia or Madrid, or cross into France by the coastal motorway.

Island stays in Mallorca and Ibiza are planned separately, because the vehicle reaches them by ferry. If your programme moves between Barcelona and the Balearics, tell us early so the crossing is booked in time.
