Each February the Munich Security Conference brings government leaders, ministers, military chiefs and analysts to the centre of Munich. Security perimeters close streets around the venue and the hotels, so request an armored vehicle early.

Messe München, in the east of the city, hosts some of the largest trade fairs in Europe, and on those days the roads to the exhibition centre carry very heavy traffic. Munich is also home to automotive, insurance and technology head offices, with campuses spread across the city.
In the old town, Maximilianstraße and the streets around the Residenz hold luxury hotels and boutiques. Oktoberfest, on the Theresienwiese, changes traffic in the city for its duration.
Private banks and family offices also have a strong presence in Munich, and city meetings combine easily with weekends at the lakes south of the city.
South of Munich, Lake Starnberg and Tegernsee are lined with private residences. Further south, the Alps begin, with Kitzbühel and Salzburg across the Austrian border.
The vehicle can cross into Austria with you on a planned route. Austrian motorways require a vignette, which is handled as part of the booking, and Zurich is reachable for a combined programme.
Munich is also a practical arrival point for Lake Constance and the Allgäu, and for winter programmes in the Austrian and Bavarian Alps. The driver plans the mountain stretch against road conditions on the day.

Protection levels
Civilian armored vehicles are commonly rated on the VR scale. The higher the number, the heavier the threat the body and glazing are tested against, and the heavier the vehicle becomes.

How it works
Dates, cities or route, number of passengers and the protection level you have in mind. A rough plan is enough to start.
We confirm the vehicle class, protection level, driver arrangement and positioning, and send a written offer. Rates are on request and stated in the offer.
On confirmation we complete identity checks, and for self-drive the licence check and the security deposit. A confidentiality agreement can be signed first.
The vehicle is positioned to your airport, hotel, residence or venue at the agreed time, with the driver briefed on your programme.

Every booking starts with the same question: who will be at the wheel. The answer decides the licence, the paperwork and the minimum duration.
