    Armored vehicles in Seville

    Armored vehicles in Seville

A historic centre with closed streets, a congress calendar at FIBES and a spring when the whole city changes its rhythm. Planning makes the difference here.

    • From one full day with driver
    • Self-drive from two days
    • Rates on request

Armored vehicles in Seville from Nero Line cover arrivals at Seville Airport, congresses at FIBES, official visits and stays in the historic centre, with a trained security driver or for your own licensed driver. Certified armored saloons and SUVs are available at protection levels from VR4 to VR10. Seville's old town has many streets closed to traffic or too narrow for a heavy vehicle, so drop-off points are planned in advance. Rates are on request.

    The historic centre

Seville has one of the largest historic centres in Europe, and much of it is closed to general traffic or too narrow for a large car. Hotels in the Santa Cruz quarter and around the cathedral are often reached on foot for the last stretch.

Our drivers know the access points that work for a heavy vehicle and plan set-down points that keep the walk short. For evenings, they agree a waiting position close enough to leave at once.

    Spring in Seville

During Semana Santa, processions fill the centre for a week and many roads close for hours at a time. A few weeks later, the Feria de Abril moves much of the city's social life to the fairground across the river.

Both periods bring large crowds and unusual traffic patterns. If your visit falls in spring, we plan routes around the closures and book further ahead than usual.

Congresses, industry and the road west

FIBES, Seville's congress and exhibition centre, hosts conferences that bring delegations from across Spain and abroad. Seville is also a centre of Spain's aerospace industry, with industrial sites around the city that executives visit.

To the south lie Jerez de la Frontera and the coast of Cádiz. To the west, the motorway leads to the Portuguese border and the Algarve, and the vehicle can cross with you on a planned route.

Doñana and the Atlantic coast of Huelva lie to the southwest, and private estates in the countryside around Seville can be added to a visit, often reached by long unpaved drives where an armored SUV is the better choice. The driver plans these approaches in daylight first.

    Protection levels

    Protection levels in plain words

Civilian armored vehicles are commonly rated on the VR scale. The higher the number, the heavier the threat the body and glazing are tested against, and the heavier the vehicle becomes.

    VR4

    Handguns, up to .44 Magnum.

Discreet protection for city travel. The lightest class, closest to a standard car in weight and handling.

    VR6 to VR7

Rifles. VR7 corresponds roughly to the former B6 rating.

Suited to executive and diplomatic travel where rifles are part of the risk assessment.

    VR9

Military rifles. Corresponds roughly to the former B7 rating.

High protection for elevated risk profiles. Heavy, with a licence requirement to match.

    VR10

The highest level certified for a civilian vehicle.

Available on request, subject to availability and longer lead times.

    How it works

    How a request works

    1. 01

      Tell us the trip

Dates, cities or route, number of passengers and the protection level you have in mind. A rough plan is enough to start.

    2. 02

      Receive a written offer

We confirm the vehicle class, protection level, driver arrangement and positioning, and send a written offer. Rates are on request and stated in the offer.

    3. 03

      Confirm and verify

On confirmation we complete identity checks, and for self-drive the licence check and the security deposit. A confidentiality agreement can be signed first.

    4. 04

      Handover where you are

The vehicle is positioned to your airport, hotel, residence or venue at the agreed time, with the driver briefed on your programme.
