    Armored vehicles in Mallorca

Armored vehicles in Mallorca and Palma

Palma's seafront and marinas, villas in the southwest and the mountain villages of the Tramuntana, with the ferry crossing planned before you land.

    • From one full day with driver
    • Self-drive from two days
    • Rates on request

Armored vehicles in Mallorca from Nero Line cover arrivals at Palma de Mallorca Airport, stays in Palma and the southwest, and villas in the Serra de Tramuntana. You choose a certified armored saloon or SUV at a protection level from VR4 to VR10, with a trained security driver or for your own licensed driver. As on every island, the vehicle reaches Mallorca by ferry, so the crossing is booked with your request. Summer and the sailing season are the busiest periods. Rates are on request.

    Palma and the southwest

Palma's Paseo Marítimo runs along the bay past the marinas, with Club de Mar close to the old town. To the west, Puerto Portals and Port Adriano berth large yachts, and Port d'Andratx sits at the end of the coast road among hillside villas.

In summer, evenings in these places follow a pattern that is easy to observe. An armored vehicle and a driver who varies timings and set-down points give you the evening without the predictability.

Sailing regattas and the summer social calendar bring additional visitors to Palma and the marinas, and arrivals by sea need the same planning as arrivals by air.

    Mountain roads in the Tramuntana

The Serra de Tramuntana runs along the northwest coast, with Deià, Valldemossa and Sóller on narrow roads that wind between cliffs and terraces. Many private estates are here, often at the end of a steep private track.

A heavy armored vehicle on these roads needs patience and experience: long descents, tight bends and coaches coming the other way in summer. Our drivers plan these routes in daylight first, and for most estates we recommend an armored SUV.

Pollença and the north of the island are quieter and more spread out, with estates reached by long private roads through the countryside.

    Crossings and island logistics

The vehicle reaches Mallorca by ferry from the mainland. In summer, space for heavy vehicles is limited, so the earlier we know your dates, the more options remain for vehicle class and protection level.

Programmes that combine Mallorca with Ibiza or Barcelona are planned as a whole, so each crossing is booked once and the vehicle stays with you throughout.

    Frequently asked questions

    Protection levels

    Protection levels in plain words

Civilian armored vehicles are commonly rated on the VR scale. The higher the number, the heavier the threat the body and glazing are tested against, and the heavier the vehicle becomes.

    VR4

    Handguns, up to .44 Magnum.

Discreet protection for city travel. The lightest class, closest to a standard car in weight and handling.

    VR6 to VR7

Rifles. VR7 corresponds roughly to the former B6 rating.

Suited to executive and diplomatic travel where rifles are part of the risk assessment.

    VR9

Military rifles. Corresponds roughly to the former B7 rating.

High protection for elevated risk profiles. Heavy, with a licence requirement to match.

    VR10

The highest level certified for a civilian vehicle.

Available on request, subject to availability and longer lead times.

    How it works

    How a request works

    1. 01

      Tell us the trip

Dates, cities or route, number of passengers and the protection level you have in mind. A rough plan is enough to start.

    2. 02

      Receive a written offer

We confirm the vehicle class, protection level, driver arrangement and positioning, and send a written offer. Rates are on request and stated in the offer.

    3. 03

      Confirm and verify

On confirmation we complete identity checks, and for self-drive the licence check and the security deposit. A confidentiality agreement can be signed first.

    4. 04

      Handover where you are

The vehicle is positioned to your airport, hotel, residence or venue at the agreed time, with the driver briefed on your programme.
