- Charters leave from Palma, Puerto Portals and Port Adriano on the Bay of Palma; Port de Pollença and Port de Sóller serve the north coast.
- Cabrera National Park, a short crossing south of Colònia de Sant Jordi, is visited by permit and on park buoys only, which keeps its water the clearest around the island.
- The season runs April to October. July and August fill first; May, June and September offer the same coves at lower rates.

A week on board: how it works

Tell us your plans
Dates, group size, where you want to go and your budget. We confirm availability the same day.

Your shortlist
Within hours you get two or three yachts with the full price itemised: charter fee, 21% VAT, APA and any delivery fee.
- 3
Option and contract
Your yacht is held while the contract is prepared: the MYBA agreement for weekly charters, our charter contract for day charters.

Payment
Weekly charters: 50% at signing, the balance with VAT and APA four to five weeks before departure. Day charters: a deposit to confirm, the balance before the day. Card, bank transfer or crypto.

On board
Passports or ID cards for every guest at embarkation. The captain plans each day with you, and the APA is settled with receipts before you disembark.
What a weekly charter costs
- The charter fee: the yacht, its equipment, the crew and their food, and the yacht’s insurance.
- Plus 21% Spanish VAT on the charter fee for every charter that starts in Spain.
- Plus the APA, usually 25% to 35% of the fee: an advance for fuel, food, drinks and marina fees, spent at cost and settled with receipts.
- Plus a delivery fee only if you start or end away from the yacht’s home port.
- A crew gratuity is customary (10% to 15%) and is not part of the contract.
What a day charter costs
- Yachts marked “Live availability” show the day price including 21% VAT, crew, water and soft drinks, and fuel for the standard route.
- For other yachts the quote itemises VAT, fuel and extras before you confirm anything.
- Half-day and sunset slots are available on many yachts at a lower rate.
A week on board: sample itinerary
A starting point, not a fixed route: the captain plans each day with you around the weather.
- Day 1Palma to Portals Vells and Cala Blava: a short first leg, swim stops and a first night at anchor in the Bay of Palma.
- Day 2Cabrera National Park: permit, park buoy, the Blue Cave and the quietest water of the week.
- Day 3Es Trenc and Colònia de Sant Jordi: the long white beach from the sea, lunch on board.
- Day 4Cala Mondragó and Porto Petro: the protected coves of the southeast, dinner ashore in Portopetro.
- Day 5Cala Varques and Porto Cristo: cliffs, caves and the east coast’s best snorkelling.
- Day 6Cala Ratjada to the Bay of Pollença: round the northeast tip to Formentor beach.
- Day 7Formentor and the Tramuntana coast back to Palma, or disembark in Port de Pollença with a transfer to the airport.
A day on the water
Full day, half day or sunset, from the yacht’s home port.
- Bay of Palma: Portals Vells, Cala Blava and Illetes, with lunch at anchor.
- Southwest coast: Camp de Mar, Sant Elm and the Dragonera island channel.
- Sunset cruise from Puerto Portals or Port Adriano along the Calvià coast.
