Bareboat charter means you rent the yacht and captain it yourself — no professional crew aboard. This requires a valid yachtmaster license (ICC, RYA Day Skipper or higher for EU waters, USCG license for non-EU guests), documented experience, and insurance. Nero Line does not directly offer bareboat charters on our Spanish fleet — Spanish regulations require a licensed charter captain on vessels over 12 metres, and most insurance underwriters decline bareboat on yachts above €500K hull value.
